This Newtype special was an additional sound episode available on the final drama CD for the first season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

It begins with a gunshot and some gruff men ordering everyone to lay on the floor. It is then revealed that a bank robbery is happening with Lelouch vi Britannia, Kallen Kōzuki, and Suzaku Kururugi caught in the middle of it. One of the two men robbing the bank grabs Kallen and threatens to shoot her if anyone makes a move. Unfortunately, Lelouch can't use his Geass without revealing his secret to Kallen and Suzaku so he decides to create a plan as one of the robbers heads back to the vault.

Before he can get a plan going, Suzaku volunteers to take Kallen's place as a hostage. The two of them argue for a moment when the robber says that the Black Knights are supporting them. Kallen rushes to the defense of the Black Knights and calls the man a liar. She gets hit in the face for her defiance.

Lelouch calmly rises and declares that there are three reasons why their robbery is going to be a failure. The first reason is their belief that Kallen has any value to anyone as a hostage. The second reason is that the robbers failed to consider that the other people in the bank may have weapons as well. At that Lelouch declares that he has C-4 in his pocket and approaches the robber. He uses his Geass to convince the guard that he hears a ticking bomb and the guard starts to freak out. With Lelouch distracting him Suzaku is able to sneak up behind him and knock him out.

The other robber then comes back and fires a warning shot. Suzaku tries to get the guy to surrender but the robber won't listen. The man shoots at Suzaku but Suzaku dodges the bullet and places the robber under arrest. At this moment Lelouch reveals that the third reason for the failure of the robbers is that Suzaku is there.

After everything settles down, Kallen expresses her gratitude for their help. They talk a little about what just happened and Suzaku says that Lelouch's third reason was wrong. The robbers didn't fail because he was there but because both he and Lelouch were there together.
