The scene starts with Lelouch in a Knightmare simulator, only to be quickly defeated. As Lelouch walks out of the warehouse, he monologues on his dissatisfaction with Britannia's rule and the need to hide his and Nunnally's connection to the Britannian throne, and the worry of what has happened to Suzaku. The main worry is where he'll go the day he graduates from Ashford Academy, as both of the other world powers are poor in their infrastructure. Lelouch knows full well the odds are against him but he holds his strength and determination. The time for the rebellion has come, he'll usurp the country from the shadows. Lelouch then walks towards the Student Council.
