Solar Panels
A Solar Panel is a type of generator that can harness the energy of the sun. Solar energy is one of the four known sources of energy in the world of Code Geass with the others being Sakuradite, Wind Turbines and Tidal power generators. Whereas Sakuradite is used to power things like cars or Knightmare Frames, solar energy is used to power buildings and cities. Solar Panels appear as early as the first episode powering the Britannian occupied city of Tokyo. In Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, the Europia United uses large wind turbines. Euro Britannia, like main Britannia have solar panels powering their cities and conquered territories such as Slonim. Whether or not other countries have this technology is currently unknown.
