The Federation Transport Submarine was a submarine that was repurposed and redesigned for covert, underwater transportation purposes to assist the resistance fighters in Hokkaido. It was used as a replacement for conventional surface ships given the barriers built by the Neo Britannian Empire made such act for aid impossible.
Design and Specifications[]
Compared to the Black Knights' Submarine, the Federation Transport Submarine sports a more conventional design, being of a typical black tubular cigar shape. It possess a sail and diving planes like all conventional submarines.
As aforementioned, whatever weapons it had, this submarine in question was modified specifically to hold cargo. So its original weapon bays was emptied out for storage purposes. This does make the submarine defenceless against attack, but given the risk of conventional surface ships against the defences of Neo Britannia, going underwater to stealth itself via the ocean and with its sonar-absorbing foam was considered the safer option for the UFN.
The submarine that emerged to help the Seven Shining Stars was carrying a F.L.E.I.J.A. Eliminator alongside Nina Einstein to help the Hokkaido forces to counter the Damocles that was held under control by Neo Britannia.
