Clarice Garfield (クラリス・ガーフィールド, Kurarisu Gāfīrudo) is a major character in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories. She is the Protagonist's guardian after the deaths of their family.
Appearance[]
Clarice is a young woman possessing blonde hair tied at the back, with bangs on the right side of her face and two long strands hanging over her shoulders reaching over her chest. She wears a set of glasses over her green eyes, a gold-trimmed pink top and what appears to be a white skirt.
She also wears an Ashford Academy student uniform during the school festival.
Personality[]
Clarice is gentle and kind-hearted, and wishes to do the best she could to care for and connect with her adopted child, and holds their well-being above all else. She proves to be very open-minded and accepting, as shown when Disel confessed about their life as a Black Knight to her. However, she can still hold a temper especially when Lloyd Asplund is around. She is also into dressing up as a student.

Before the invasion of Japan, Clarice had been an intern who had worked for Soichiro and Vaniella in the research centre in Shizouka. After the research centre was destroyed and the couple killed, Clarice found the young Disel who had forgotten their memories, taking it upon herself to raise the child.

Upon learning that Disel had been a Black Knight, Clarice continued to accept them with open arms. Now wishing to aid them in their quest, she had the Pendulum upgraded. She wished them good luck in their journey for a better world before they left on their way to the field.
This was the last time Clarice would see her child, for unfortunately she was later killed by Carly in an attack on the base she had taken shelter in, her body being recovered by the DGE Corp employees. Her spirit later appeared in C's World. Disel, upon returning from Kamine after the failed Ragnarok Connection, was devastated by the death of Clarice, and swore to kill Carly in her name.
Part 3[]
Clarice would return as part of Anone where she would reunite with Disel and encourage them to do the right thing despite her not being there for them.
