The Canterbury is a four-legged Knightmare used primarily for siege warfare. It was first seen in the final OVA of the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled sieging Castle Weisswolf.
Design and Specifications[]
The Canterbury is an odd-looking Britannian Knightmare Frame that has more in common with the JLF Raikō than it does with any other system by both design, and function.
Like the Raikō, the Canterbury is a qaudreped, which is propably needed as it mounts an incredibly heavy version of the VARIS Rifle, which has been modified as a siege cannon. This cannon is powerful enough that several shot was able to breach the defensive walls of Castle Weisswolf.
Despite this awesome power however, the Canterbury is incredibly fragile, requiring the protection of several Sutherland IIs to defend it from counterattack.
Trivia[]
- Canterbury, like most Britannian Knightmare names, is derived from a city of England of the same name.
