C.C. is a slender, fair skinned girl with long, almost waist-length light green hair and golden eyes. She is of average height, being slightly shorter than Kallen. At some point in the past, she was captured by Prince Schneizel of the Holy Britannian Empire, though she never discovered who her captor was, leading her to assume it to be Emperor Charles rather than his son. Lelouch returns home with an unconscious C.C. in his arms. When questioned by Nunnally, he claims claims that he was carrying a package before going to his room and placing C.C. on his bed. C.C. begins living with the siblings under the guise of being a distant relative.

Later on, C.C. is being led by Nunnally to Lelouch's class, with Suzaku, who doesn't recognize her, alerting Lelouch of their presence. In the courtyard, Lelouch questions why C.C. brought Nunnally with her and she explains that Nunnally really wanted to go, She then jokes, reminding Lelouch that she isn't a maid before leaving.

That night, C.C. joins Lelouch in a mission to take down drug traffickers claiming to be the black knights. The duo ends up getting cornered by Jeremiah's forces, and Jeremiah tries to shoot Zero as revenge for Clovis. However, C.C. steps in the way and takes the bullet, getting shot in the head. This causes Suzaku to flash back to his father’s death. He has a panic attack and Zero uses the opportunity to activate a smoke screen and escape with C.C.’s body. Later on, Lelouch is mourning C.C., but is happy when she reveals that she is alive.

Following Lenard's death and the revelation of Suzaku being Lancelot, C.C. asks what Lelouch intends to do with Suzaku. Lelouch states that Suzaku doesn't belong with Britannia and he will convince him of such. C.C. questions if he will use his geass, but Lelouch denies this. She then asks if its due to responsibility, friendship, or pride, and Lelouch acknowledges that its because of all of those things. She then reminds Lelouch that he might have to kill him to which Lelouch doesn't respond.

Several days later, as Charles commemorates the opening of the Clovis Memorial Museum, the black knights prepare to attack the opening. After Zero goes over the mission with everyone, C.C. grabs his cape. She tells him she has a bad feeling and that he shouldn't let his guard down, as well as reminding him of his duty to fulfill her wish. Lelouch acknowledges as much, but states that he doesn't know when he will get another chance to kill the emperor. Understanding, she then decides to tell him why Charles needed her.

During the attack at the museum, C.C. stays in a Black Knights trailer parked near the building. She ends up being captured by the Glaston Knights, who are working under the direction of Prince Schneizel. She is thne locked in a restricted room on a military based.

Schneizel explaining his plan to C.C.

Several days later, while Suzaku is speaking to Mariel, C.C. telepathically asks him to help her. Later on, Lloyd and Schneizel are in a laboratory examining C.C., who is looking in a glass case. There they speak about Schneizel's true goals of taking C.C.'s immortality and using it for world domination. That night, Suzaku decides to enter the room and sees C.C. in a prison cell, recognizing her as the girl that was with Lelouch. He asks why she’s there and C.C. states that she has no intention of cooperating with Schneizel. Suzaku doesn't know what she means. This leads her to explain that Schneizel was actually the one who killed the Emperor and framed Lelouch to get him out of the way. She also states that and that he intends to take away her powers and use it for world domination. Suzaku doesn't believe her, but C.C. shows him her memories. In the memory, Schneizel explains to C.C. how he figured out Zero’s identity and set up the ceremony as a trap for him. When she questions him about why he killed the Emperor, Schneizel explains that in a world where everyone is equal, the emperor was not needed. He and Lloyd then discuss Suzaku and how they used his trauma to control him.

As the memory ends, C.C. tells Suzaku that while she doesn't care who the Emperor is, someone with her power shouldn't rule the world. Suzaku asks if she told Lelouch this. She states that she did, but she had assumed it was the Emperor, not Schneizel behind the scenes. Suzaku laments his poor decisions. He then drops his pocket watch. Upon seeing it, Suzaku realizes that it was because he respected his father so much that he couldn't forgive his actions. C.C. tells him there's not time to try and convince Schneizel and once her powers are transferred to him, it will be too late. Suzaku then realizes that his greatest wish is to create a world where Lelouch and Nunnally can be happy and decides to rescue Lelouch and stop Schneizel. C.C. asks him to take care of Lelouch before he leaves.

C.C.'s powers going rampant (SotC)

C.C.'s powers going rampant.

Before the eclipse, Schneizel and Lloyd place C.C. in a device meant to siphon away her power and feed it into Schneizel. As Suzaku and Lelouch confront the two, enough of her power is siphoned away to stop any non-geass users from approaching Schneizel. After Suzaku awakens his geass and kill Schneizel, he and Lelouch move to free C.C., but as they do, the area around them begins shaking. Lloyd explains that C.C.'s power is beginning to go out of control and the world is beginning to collapse. After Jeremiah shoots Lelouch, Suzaku takes it upon himself to approach C.C. despite Lloyd's warning that he would take on her immortality. Suzaku then touches the capsule, resulting in a large explosion.

It is not revealed what happened to her following the event.
